All Black Base Part III: Simplicity
As you know, I've been showcasing the versatility of an all black base the past couple of weeks and today is another part of this series. I am wearing this extremely comfy knit black midi dress. It is one of my favorite Winter/Fall dresses. I love how nice and thick it is.
I decided to pair this knit dress with an olive trench duster and kept the accessories very minimal. I opted to add a couple of fun elements to the look with the pom pom cap and faux fur textured purse, which was such a good find via ebay. :-) Lately, I've been on this very simple/minimal vibe. More so because basics and minimal looks are easy to put together when your time is restricted and that has been the case for me. My time has been so limited lately and I haven't had much time to really pre-plan/think about my outfits. So, a good handful of basics make getting dressed in a pinch so much easier.

Lesson #1. No One Owes You a Thing
"Entitlement is a delusion built on self-centerdness and laziness." You get what you put in.
Today's post is all about the black dress and the versatility. When in doubt black ALWAYS works.
Some of you may be wondering what is this title all about? Well, keep reading. :-)
All of us are faced with challenges in life and today I heard a very inspiring message that uplifted me and I felt the need to share. Hopefully, with me putting this message out there it will help to motivate, inspire, strengthen and/or encourage someone.
Hoping you all had a wonderful Valentine's Day! For my V-day date I went with all black with pops of red.
So, today's look features this cropped vintage floral jacket, which I think is such a cute, unique little jacket.
So, as most of you know I am typically not the flats wearing kind of girl (with exception to sandals/flops in the warmer months). However, every now and then my feet need a break and today was that day. Those Aminah Jillil pumps from my last post did a number on me.
