Good Day Loves,
“The world is a jungle, you either fight or run forever.” Sleeves rolled up, boxing gloves on, with the outfit to boot! In the words of Nipsey Hussle, “The marathon continues”!
Hoping you all had a wonderful weekend. Mine was uneventful, I was able to accomplish some more spring cleaning (which I feel like I’ve been doing for months now…I own too much stuff). I also enjoyed the weather a bit and checked a good amount of blog/work tasks off of my to-do list.
Today’s look is all about jungle prints. You know I love a good print mixing and this print on print action is it! One of the frequently asked questions I receive is, “How do you mix prints?” I have a couple of mini blog posts about it but I think it’s time I do an in-depth Youtube video explaining the method to the organized chaos.
Back to this look…although, the prints are slightly different but yet kind of the same, it still works paired together, as the colors are the same to make it cohesive but the prints clash enough to create balance. Also, the block of white plays a huge part in the overall look as it off sets the prints and grounds the look a bit. If the entire skirt was in the tropical print I wouldn’t pair it with this top because it would look way too busy and be completely overwhelming. Anyhwo, I just love a good printed midi skirt, it can be worn casually, dressed up for work, church, a business meeting, etc. I’m all about versatility which you guys already know.
Now, let’s get into the real show stopper of this look…this moto inspired purse. If you follow me on IG this bag is no stranger to you, as I had to do a little sneak peek before this post went live, as I am in love with this bag. The color is so rich and the bag has the most perfect details. It adds an element of cool to almost any look. If you love it as much as I do, keep scrolling, as I’ve linked it below.
