Casual Holiday Style Inspiration

Hey Loves!

This is my absolute favorite time of year. I love the Holidays...the smells, the decorations, an excuse to wear sequins and bling all day/everyday and of course, the celebration of Jesus Christ. In honor of my favorite month I decided to share some practical Holiday looks with you all, as not everyone will be attending a fancy holiday party and/or dinner. If your family is anything like mine, we dress festive but casual for our holiday gatherings. We're not wearing sequined ball gowns and flowy sequin maxi's to Christmas dinner.

Tip #1.

One of the key things for me for Christmas family dinner is comfort. Let's be honest food and good eats are a major part of the Holiday season and I may or may not be the type to over indulge in all of the good food. So, considering this something loose and comfortable is a priority. The top I am wearing is pretty roomy in the stomach area, allowing a little wiggle room for me to eat as much as I like and still hide my food belly and these particular leather pants I am wearing are pretty stretchy, so they work perfectly, as well.

Tip #2.

I personally try not to over do it with the festiveness, for my families casual dinner. So, finding that perfect balance without being too over the top and stuffy is key. You don't want to look out of place. A beaded or sequin jacket paired with a pair of stretchy jeans would be a perfect style option.

Tip #3.

If sequins and beading isn't really your thing, you can forego all of the typical holiday attire and just add a glamorous blingy statement piece of jewelry or rock an all black look with pops of red.
