How to Wear a Dress as a Top

Hello Lovelies!

Hoping everyone's week is going well. So, for today's look I am wearing a dress as a top, which I sometimes do. (Click

here to see how I styled it as a dress.)  Ladies, don't be afraid to get creative with your wardrobe and make it multi-functional by remixing and re-purposing garments. Wearing a dress as a top is one of the ways you can obtain the most bang for your investment and you know that's what I'm all about over here at Style & Poise. What are some of your favorite ways to re-purpose pieces in your wardrobe?

The Styling:

Gingham is a classic print that I will always make room for. It's perfect for mixing prints and it gives most looks a classic and preppy feel. This skirt is appearing yellow in the photos but it's actually green and I love cobalt blue and green paired together. I added the hot pink clutch for a pop of color and a little contrast. The bow sandals were a must to add a feminine/girlie element to the overall look.
