The Look:
Denim on denim more often than not, just works(at least, in my opinion)! It's the perfect go-to base for a casual vibe. You can wear it by itself or pile layers on top, as I did with my moto jacket in today's post. Speaking of my moto jacket, as you guys can probably gather by now my moto jacket is like hot sauce, I put that ish on everything...but no really, I wear this jacket to death. I added this super cute flirty clutch, red pumps, and my cutesy red heart shades to make it a little feminine and playful.
The Styling of Denim on Denim:
This look can pretty much be worn with almost anything: a blazer, a long cardigan, a faux fur vest, a pair of over the knee boots, a pair of booties, a pair of sneakers, a pair of cute flats, a pump...you literally can't go wrong with the styling of a denim on denim look.
The Experience:
The location in which I shot my photos was so unique and amazing. The art studio is owned by a Philly artist by the name of
James Dupree. My husband and I had the opportunity to meet and talk with him, as well as received a private tour of his studio. He is a talented individual for sure. I love his use of color and the courageous and bold messages conveyed through his art work. That's what art should do, evoke emotion and thought whether good or bad; as long as it makes you think. His work is a must see!
