The Kill

Happy Sunday Everyone!!!

So, some of you may be wondering, what the above title is about.......well let me explain. So, I woke up on this beautiful glorious Sunday morning, bright and early to do some house chores and get ready for church. For whatever reason, I was just dragging and time just got away from me before I knew it, I looked up and the clock read, 10:44. Keep in mind, church starts at 10:00!!! So, here I am running around the house like a mad woman trying to get ready to make it to the house of the Lord! Now typically, my Pastor starts preaching around 11:00, so I figured, as long as I got my word in I'd be alright for the week that lies ahead! Low and behold I arrive to church at 11:05 and there's a guest speaker, who is wrapping up her sermon as I walk through the doors...yup I missed the word!!! The devil tried to kill my spirit but fret not, I was able to stream Bishop T.D. Jakes online service and still got my word in. The devil tried it....he did! I then proceeded to take blog pictures and good God my new name for these Aminah Jillil pumps are "The Kill".....they KILLED my feet! They're such beauties but the most I can last in these are about a good hour. After I wrapped up my blog pics, I made a quick stop to the grocery store and as I'm strolling down the aisle a young female compliments me on my outfit, I graciously thank her. The other young fellows who were with her began to sing in my direction, "OOOOOHH Kill Em"! I couldn't help but chuckle....silly things like that make my day! Well, this is what I "kind of" wore to church today!
