As we continue to seek God's face and open our hearts to his word, it will strengthen our character and change our perspective on various things. One thing in particular for me is I used to have the inability to understand how friends or family had difficulty being genuinely happy for someone in their lives, when they accomplished a major goal or even a small goal. However, I have come to realize that sometimes people can't be genuinely happy for you because they can't identify. God's blessings on our lives are sometimes only for us to understand, so it's alright if others around us don't see or understand our blessings, visions, and dreams. I am grateful for a clearer perspective because it has helped me immensely in some of my relationships. I have grown so much as a woman and still continue to grow and am so appreciative for all God is doing for me and those around me on this lovely journey called life. The Styling:
This was a look I wore to a baby shower this weekend. I paired this dress with a nude pair of heels to keep the color palette soft. I added a cutesy purse with a pop of color and added a pair of over-sized round sunnies for more of a 70's vibe. (Ssshhh..our little secret, this dress is actually a maternity dress.)
Alternative Styling Options:
You can change up the look of this dress by layering it with a denim jacket, leather jacket, or a vest, etc. You can also add a belt or layer a chambray or collar shirt on top and wear it as a skirt.
