Camouflaged as a Christian

Greetings Lovelies and Happy 1st day of Spring!!!!

Some of you may be wondering what is this title all about? Well, keep reading. :-)

All of us are faced with challenges in life and today I heard a very inspiring message that uplifted me and I felt the need to share. Hopefully, with me putting this message out there it will help to motivate, inspire, strengthen and/or encourage someone. As I sit and reflect I ask myself do I uphold the attitude of a Christian? What's the motivation behind what I do? As Christians, we have to learn the skill of knowing we're all of that but presenting ourselves like we're some of that.

HUMILITY

is a key element in having the attitude of a Christian. Typically, if we have to tell someone who we are it's probably because we're not. Allow your life and work to speak for itself. Another key element of the attitude of a Christian is

INTEGRITY

What comes out of our mouth should match our spirit and the way we live.  Lastly and in my opinion one of the most important factors of the attitude of a Christian is

LOVE

As Christians, we have to learn to love people through their humanity. A person's descriptors shouldn't be how we judge or decide who we're going to respect and love. Love people because they're human not because of their descriptors. We must learn to look past people's flaws and brokenness. We have to be careful with how we judge and look down on people because we very well could've been in their shoes if it wasn't for the grace of God.

It goes without saying that it can be very hard sometimes to uphold the attitude of a Christian. We're imperfect people. I'm sure all of us have encountered people who don't like us for whatever reason, who pray for our downfall, who try to invalidate us, and yet knowing this it is still our responsibility to treat them with kindness and love. We will be held accountable by God for how we treat others. So, it's that mindset that should keep us going, keep us lifted, keep us at peace, and ultimately keep our attitudes in check.

So, are you camouflaging as a Christian? You don't have to, just carry with you an attitude of Christ and God will bless you! In the words of my Pastor, " God will work a miracle of your marketing if you have the right attitude and remain obedient and faithful to his word." XOXO
