Greetings to All and wishing you an Early HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!

God has been so good to me this year and I can't wait to see what 2012 brings. I am so grateful and blessed for all the many blessings God has bestowed upon me! Especially grateful for the safe return of my brother from Afghanistan, being surrounded by genuine friends and family, being blessed with a man who truly loves and appreciates me; who I can't wait to build Forever with, and last but not FABULOUS blogger friends! You guys have been so awesome to me and so supportive and I genuinely appreciate it! I started this blog in March of 2011 on a whim, not knowing where it was going to take me or how it would be received and here I am 300 and something "blogger friends" later and I am truly grateful for each and everyone of you that take the time out of your busy day to read and comment on my blog! LOVE YOU GUYS!!!!!! Giveaway coming very will be my first :-)

So, what are your plans for New Year's? Any Resolutions? I will be spending my New Year's at church, as I do every year! But Anywho, my family and I decided to try this new Italian restaurant recently built in my mothers neck of the woods. The food was pretty good. I played it safe and went with Penne Vodka for my entree', maybe next time I will be a lil' more adventurous. This is what I wore to dinner..... It's simple and basic with a little shimmer :-) Hope Ya Like! XOXO

I didn't take too many food photos but here is a pic of my lobster bisque appetizer

Hi Ladies!

So, I am feeling the menswear look on women. Who would've thought?!!! I was very hesitant about posting this ensemble because it's so OUT OF THE BOX for me! I've noticed, recently, some of my fav bloggers have posted some menswear looks, which made me feel a little more comfortable to post my version of the menswear trend. Without further adieu, here is my casual menswear inspired look! How do you ladies feel about incorporating mens pieces into your wardrobe?

I saw this sequined bow tie on Topshop's website and I fell in love with it. It's the perfect balance of feminine meets masculine

Greetings All! A HUGE WELCOME to my new followers..I reached 300..WOOP WOOP! And a HUGE THANK YOU to my faithful supporters/followers! Love you all and thanks so much for your continued support! It means a lot. Truly.....

This weekend, I went to see "Momma I want to sing" in Harlem, which is a Gospel Musical. It was nice to support/see such a young, talented cast. Anywho, I figured I would be doing a lot of walking, so comfort was a MUST. Even though, initially I put on heels, I had to rethink that and decided to throw on some ballet flats. The outfit, I originally had in mind, I had to scratch last minute because it wouldn't work with flat shoes.....So, this was a quick/thrown together outfit..FOR REAL...hope you ladies like :-)

I know the arms look a little stuffed/large but it's because I had on several layers....
